Really great amphibian zoo! It's a little off the main road but definitely worth going to if you like frogs. All of the information about them is in Japanese, I wish they included English common names on the signs as well. All of the terrariums are extremely well kept and clean, plenty of space for the frogs. Some of them are huge! I had a hard time finding some of them because of how well-hidden they were, but it was lots of fun trying. It took about an hour to get through. In the summer they have some outdoor exhibits as well but I went in the winter so those frogs were not on display.

It was so much fun! I was so absorbed in looking for frogs hiding behind the leaves and rocks that I ended up staying there for an hour and a half... (lol) However, no matter how hard they try, they can't find the Goliath frog... I will go back for revenge!

If you like amphibians, you'll have a lot of fun. My daughter and I were there for quite a long time. I think it took me about twice as much time as the others. It takes a lot of time to find hidden frogs.
